The third T-Pot workshop organized by the Sächsisches Textilforschungsinstitut's (STFI) was held from 29th of November till 4th of December 2009 in Germany. The participants were project coordinator Sandra Bischof Vukušić, Drago Katović, Edita Vujasinović, Eva Magovac, Dragana Kopitar, Žaklina Domjanić, Maja Somogyi, Snježana Brnada and representatives from industry:
The workshop began by visiting the company SOEX, which operates for 25 years and employs approximately 550 people. The core business of the company is recycling of textile wastes. Tour through the company was led by executive director Götz Wolff and his associates and Bernd Gulich from Sächsisches Textilforschungsinstitut.

The second part of the workshop was carried out in Sächsisches Textilforschungsinstitut e.V. (STFI) in Chemnitz where employees of the institute presented the development projects applied in different areas of technical textiles followed by a brief tour through the Institute and practical test of recycling of glass fibers from SME Kelteks.

The last part of the workshop was incorporated into the colloquium "Recycling for textiles" organized by STFI, where representatives of European recycling machines producers presented a new technological solutions integrated into standard production lines to increase efficiency of production and raw material utilization, improving quality and reducing harmful environmental impacts.
